Where Love Meets Recovery

Founded in memory of Corey Brandon Montgomery, Corey’s Love is a nonprofit dedicated to fighting the overdose crisis through education, compassionate care, and community support.

Born from Love,

Built for Change.

Meet Corey

Corey’s Love began in October 2024 after the tragic loss of Corey Brandon Montgomery, who passed away from addiction at only 23 years old. Founded by his mother, Jessica Beard, she wanted to ensure that his life and story continue to inspire a mission of hope—one that challenges stigma, spreads awareness, and offers hands-on support to individuals and families navigating substance use disorder.

Our logo represents something Corey felt at peace doing: fishing! But it also represents the lives we’re trying to save with our outreach. On a day of fishing, even if you only catch one fish, the day is successful—and even if we save just one life, we’ll have made a difference.

Corey’s Love is more than a nonprofit. We are a community, standing together to save lives, restore dignity, and build a future free from the shadows of addiction.

Helping Our Community, One Family at a Time

At the heart of Corey’s Love is a belief that compassion heals more deeply than judgment ever could. We believe in the power of faith, the strength of family, and the ripple effect of love.

Corey’s legacy lives on through every life touched by this mission. Each time we speak his name, offer a meal, or support a family in crisis, we honor his spirit—and the countless others like him.

Together, we can make a lasting difference—one life, one heart, one recovery at a time.
